Q Award is Viewers for Quality
Television Awards. The
Viewers for Quality Television is a non profit group that advocates
quality programming on television. This organization came to a close
at the end of 2000 after being in business since Dec. 1984. They
were Viewers for Quality Television (VQT), a 15-year old positive
viewer organization with no agenda other than influencing the
commercial networks to retain their critically-acclaimed quality
series rather than canceling them because of insufficient Nielsen
numbers. |
